Sarah is becoming much more photogenic. She has been asking me to take her picture alot lately. Such a cute girl!
She got to go on a date with her daddy to Zarda last week. They went and had dinner and got a wonderful red balloon. It's amazing how much fun can be had with a balloon.
She was making funny faces at me :)

Since it was snowing outside today we decided to make Valentine's Day cards. She had a good time coloring and putting stickers on her card for her daddy and Ms. Angie (her preschool teacher).

Life with a 3 1/2 year old is very interesting. She definitely keeps us on our toes. She can't seem to hear anything I say directly to her but can hear everything that's said when we aren't talking to her. I had her parent-teacher conference at school a couple of weeks ago and her teacher commented that she really likes to talk :)  I am never lacking for conversation when she is around.

This morning the kids and I just hung around the house. Sarah decided she wanted to dress up like a princess. I like the headband :)

After dress up time Sarah decided she wanted to go outside. I had to bundle her up and then I think she played outside for about 15 minutes. At least she got some fresh air.

Papa Dean, Grandma Ann, Uncle Brandon, Aunt Jill, Caden and Tanner were all here tonight for our Christmas celebration. Sarah loved getting open presents and did a really good job being patient and waiting her turn.

Sarah is showing off her new bright pink baby stroller. She was taking Luke's puppy for a stroll.

Last night I took the kids to Chick-fil-A to see Santa Cow. I wasn't sure how they would do but Sarah LOVED it. She sat really still and let me take lost of pictures of her. This first picture was right before we headed home. She begged me to let her take another picture with Santa Cow. She even asked me about him this morning and asked if she could go see him again.

They also had a balloon artist and he made Sarah a penguin.

Sarah is becoming so independent. It's hard to believe that she's only 3 1/2. We got a bunch of new clothes from one of Bill's co-workers. There were several really cute outfits including some skirts. I love that Sarah is actually willing to wear skirts (as long as she can wear leggings underneath). She loves that she now has some new clothes to dress up in. This morning she also decided to add on Luke's winter hat and scarf. At least I got her to take them off before preschool :)

Sarah had preschool this morning. She was having fun making faces at the camera.

December 11, 2011

On the way to church this morning.

Sarah's preschool Christmas program was tonight. My mom and I took Sarah and went early to save seats. She did awesome waiting the 25 minutes before she got to go to her room. Right before I took her to her classroom she agreed to let me take her picture in front of the big Christmas tree.

I will try to upload some video of her program tomorrow.
After she was done we went to the chapel and she got to see Santa. I was surpised that she went right up to him and even let me take her picture. She was really sweet and even told him what she wanted for Christmas.

Sarah got to go over to her friend's house today. When I picked her up she told me how much fun she had. She said, "I love Livy." She also informed, "I told Miss Micah that Luke didn't poop." She is so helpful :)
Hanging out at home waiting for dinner, Sarah found Luke's Spiderman hat and was wandering around with it on.

Sarah got an easel from her Aunt Kathy and Uncle Roland for Christmas. She has really enjoyed getting to draw pictures with her new markers. She even wanted to draw a picture before she went to preschool yesterday.

I asked Sarah if I could take her picture before she left for school. She's getting much better about sitting still and smiling for pictures. For awhile all of her smiles were very fake and strange looking.
She was very camera friendly yesterday.

Let's Try this again :)

I've had a hard time keeping up with the kids' blogs but I've decided I would like to try again. I'm dedicating this blog to all of the cute and humorous things Sarah does and says. My goal is to be able to look back at this when she is older and remember all of the adorable "Sarahisms."

This morning after I picked her up from preschool I asked her what she did. She told me that she sang some songs today. She started singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus. I asked her if they had been practicing for her Christmas play and she told me, "No, we were practicing for our Christmas projam."
